So maybe you've heard of a dermatologist. A doctor who is liscenced in taking care of your skin care needs. But what you may not know is that there is a more effective and less costly way to promote healthy, younger looking skin. I'm not trying to discredit dermatologists at all. But you can prevent many of your skin's problems before you ever have to walk in their office.
Step 1: cleanser. What kinda of cleanser are you using? If it's not "non-comedogenic", then you are clogging up your pores, causing more harm than help. You also need to be doing a "double cleanse" which means washing your face with a good cleanser, twice. Not once at night and once in the morning, but two times at night and two times in the morning. Why? Because the first cleanse only gets off the surface dirt. That second one actually gets down and does what it's supposed to.
Step 2: exfoliation. You know those black spots on your nose? Those are called Blackheads, and you can clean them out. But you need a good exfoliator to help you. This product aids the pores in opening up so that you can get the dirt out. And use warm water, cold water will contrict your pore size and gettig that dirt out will be hard.
Step 3: extraction. You need to have clean hands to do this. I wear gloves, and use guazes strips and a comedone extrator. Have I lost you? A comedone extrator is a tool with small loops that aids you in getting the dirt out of your pores so you aren't standing at the mirror using two index fingers (which can also be effective, although painful). But keeping you tools and hands clean is very important because you are trying to remove the dirt.
Step 4: SPF. No, I'm not kidding. Sunscreen is crucial for your skin's everyday health! So maybe you don't go to tanning bed every other week, but think about all the time you sit in your car in traffic. Or if you jog. Do you shop at outdoor malls? See, before you know it, all that time in the sun is starting to add up. SPF 15-30 will usually take care of business. And again, make sure it's non-comedongenic. Following these 4 steps are a great way to help you get your skin's health back on track. If you'll notice, I didn't list any certain products, but if you want anymore information about the products I would recommend and the ones I sell, just ask!!
Have a beautiful day!
